Adult Services is a social and recreation-based program established in 1978. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to be independent in a safe yet lively setting. Adults age 55 and older with physical or cognitive concerns are also supported to be active and engaged. Participants enjoy fun activities and purposeful projects.
Adults and seniors can explore their interests through a variety of activities designed to motivate and maximize individual capacity. Transportation, as needed, is available. Participants enjoy breakfast and a hot lunch daily. Expertly-trained professionals, support staff, and volunteers provide adaptive recreation and life skills development.
The program is also a source of support for caregivers. It allows them the chance to work, manage additional needs, and focus on other priorities.
Individuals can attend one day a week to five days a week. Activities include:
- Arts & crafts
- Age appropriate games
- Expressive therapies
- Adaptive sports and movement
- Field trips
