The digital storytelling project, conducted through the Signal Centers’ Assistive Technology Services, was created to give people with disabilities the opportunity to share their story. These stories depict how they have overcome obstacles and challenges with the assistance of technology. Tennessee’s DHS Rehabilitation Services played a vital role in all of their lives to help transition through the stages of their lives with technology to reach their goals and see their dreams come true.
These stories come from artists, students, entrepreneurs and professionals. They speak of hope and challenge, barriers and successes. Each story is a “mini-biography” from their own, personal perspective of how technology has been essential to them throughout life’s transitions.
